Education: B.A. in History with Elementary Education (k-6) and Special Education (k-12) from Centenary College. Teacher of Supplemental Instruction (k-8).
Teaching Experience: This is my second year teaching at UTMS. I am excited to be here full time teaching Intervention for Mathematics and Language Arts for grades 5-8. Prior to beocming a member of the Tiger family I  taught at a small school district for 5 years. While there, I taught middle school special education and  later moved to 3rd and 4th grade where I taught for 3 years.
Philosophy: My philosophy on teaching is the one who does the work is the one who learns!  Under my direction your children will be learning through multisensory instruction. I feel all children learn best by doing and correcting their mistakes.  I am well versed with all ages and believe that all students are special in their own way. It is my goal to nurture and foster my students in reaching their full potential educationally  as well as a productive member of our school community.
Personal: In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, cooking, hiking with my 3 dogs, watching college football (GO BUCKS), and skiing.
