FIRST THINGS TO CHECK
Make sure the Chromebook is on the latest Operating System (OS)
Update Your Chromebook's Operating System
Clear Cache and Cookies from the browser on the Chromebook (Cache and Cookies are data saved in the browser to help open up pages faster)
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select the .
- Select History and in the Popup window Select History again
- Select Clear browsing data in the next window
- In the Popup window select the Advanced Tab
- In the Time range box select All time.
- Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
- Select the Clear data button
Delete Unnecessary Extensions
Uninstall An Extension
WON'T TURN ON
- Press and Hold the Refresh () and Power Keys simultaneously for 10 seconds
- Let Go
- Press the Power Key
SEARCHES BEING BLOCKED

Is searching for words like "apple" or "wagon" being blocked?
Clear your browser cache and cookies.
CONNECTING TO A PRINTER
KEYBOARD NOT WORKING
- Check that the Chromebook is on the latest OS (Operating System)
- Reboot the Chromebook
RANDOMLY SHUTTING OFF
- Turn off your Chromebook
- Let it remain off for at least 10 seconds, this clears the memory
- Restart the Chromebook
- If that fails remove unnecessary extensions which can also cause crashes
