Welcome to fifth grade! This is my seventh year teaching language arts at Union Township Middle School. Before teaching LA, I taught middle school science both here at UTMS, as well as in another school district. I graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2009 with a bachelor of science in elementary education. Before college and high school, I actually went to school here, at Union Township School! I absolutely love teaching at the school I went to, and I probably had some of the same teachers you may have had in K-4th grade! I am the supervisor for the yearbook club, mural painting club, and I am excited to be coaching the UTMS volleyball team, the 2015, 2016, &2017 district champions, again this year!
I love spending time with my family down the shore on our boat, The Summer Wind II in Long Beach Island. I also enjoy handlettering and painting signs, reading, and photography. Most of all, I love spending time with my husband, our two year old daughter, Emma, and our dog, Jersey, who is a golden retriever.
