PTA Officer Elections will be held May 12 2026!

Every two years, we hold elections for our PTA officer positions, and this year, it’s time to elect our new team! The positions up for election include:

• President
• Vice President

To run, the only requirement is that you have a student enrolled at Union Township Elementary School. Serving as a PTA officer is a fantastic way to get involved, meet other families, and collaborate with the school administration to make a positive impact on our students’ school experience!

We’d love to have you on board! Whether you’re interested in an officer role or have a passion for introducing something new to next year’s event calendar, your ideas and energy are always welcome.

• Oct 18 6-8, Rain date the 19^th
• Sign-up Genius for candy donation and trunks
• Looking for 25 trunks
• Real Deal BBQ for purchase (vegetarian options available)

• Authorized 3 25$ gift cards for trunk or treat winners, as well as an emergency candy budget (200$) if donations fall short
• Fall T-Shirt drive

• T-Shirt design agreed on (super cool!)
• Long Socks for sale (we will order, but probably sell seperately
• Breast Cancer Awareness Month
• We give out ribbons to people who donated
• Money goes to Hunterdon Oncology
• Previously this was a teacher-driven event, but will be led by PTA this year

• Will probably be pushed to the spring so there’s no holiday conflict+
• Parent-Teacher Night 18^th and 19th
• We will be offering babysitting through the local girl scout troop
• Authorized dinner for the 8 girlscouts (100$)
• Holiday Shop
• December 15^th-17^th (tentative date)
