Welcome to 3C!

Hello! My name is Rebecca Baucom, and I am a 3rd-grade teacher here at Union Township Elementary School. I began my career at UTES in the fall of 2022 as a Math Interventionist, but later transitioned into a 3rd-grade classroom teaching role in January of 2023. This is a position I have thoroughly enjoyed and continue to find deeply rewarding.

I grew up in Hunterdon County, where I attended Bethlehem Township School District and North Hunterdon High School. It has been an incredible privilege to return to the community that helped shape me and to now serve as an educator here. I continued my education at West Chester University, where I earned a dual degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education in 2022.

I am passionate about creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment where all students feel valued, challenged, and inspired. I love helping young learners grow both academically and personally, and I’m committed to meeting their individual needs while nurturing their curiosity and love of learning.
