Meet the Teacher

Hi!  My name is Beth Homay and I am the Reading Intervention Teacher.  I have a B.A. in Education and a M.A. in  Reading Education.  I have been working at UTS since 2002.  I started as a third grade teacher and then moved to teaching first grade for many years before becoming the Reading Intervention teacher.  I love to share my knowledge of reading with others and to teach kids how to become better readers!

 

At home, my husband, Christian, and I have a daughter who is in high school and a son in preschool.  I love reading, going to the beach, and having fun as a family.
