Mrs. Leigh Richards

This is my twenty-seventh year working at Union Township School. During my time here, I have not always taught Social Studies, but it is my favorite subject. I've also taught 6th grade math, pre-Algebra, and Geometry.

I was born in California -  just five miles from Disneyland -  but I moved many times. I have two grown children who both attended UTS - Amy, who works at the University of Colorado and AJ, who teaches at The College of New Jersey. I also have two young grandsons, Jake and Daniel.

I enjoy reading mysteries and working on puzzles, especially word puzzles. Mostly, I enjoy teaching middle schoolers about history.
