I attended Nyack College in New York where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, with a music concentration.  The following year, I completed my Master of Science degree in Educational Psychology at SUNY Albany.  I was hired as an Academic Intervention Services teacher, fourth grade teacher, third grade teacher and music teacher in both New York and Massachusetts.

I continued to work part time while staying home with my four children, and oversaw programs specifically working with students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade.  In 2017, I returned to the classroom as a music and art teacher at a private school in the area.  I began teaching Kindergarten here at UTES in 2019! In 2022, I taught first grade and am now thrilled to be teaching second grade this year.

There are six of us in my family including Ian, Nora, Kaitlyn and Zachary, and of course, my husband Brian!  We have a sweet black lab puppy named Gracie.  I enjoy spending time outside with my family. I also love to play the piano and sing!
