FREEZING OR GETTING KICKED OFF

  • Video Conferencing requires a lot of resources

    • Make sure only the necessary applications and tabs necessary for the current class are open in the browser
    • Make sure the Chromebook is on the current OS (Operating System).
    • Lastly, remove the Zoom extension then add it back
     
 

SOUND / MICROPHONE / HEADPHONES NOT WORKING

  • No one can hear you or you cannot hear others

    • Make sure microphone is unmuted
    • Check the audio settings on the Chromebook
      • Click on the bottom right where you see the US, wifi symbols
      • Select the > by the sound icon
      • A window should open and say Audio Settings
      • Make sure that it says Microphone (internal) not the headphones
    • Check the volume on the Chromebook
    • Use wired or USB headphones. AirPods connect via bluetooth using resources on Chromebook that may be needed for Zoom
